A 1,059-seat auditorium on the University of the Witwatersrand's Education Campus in Johannesburg, with 474 seats in the stalls, 213 in the balcony and 186 on each of the east and west mezzanines, and a stage 16 metres wide by 9 deep. The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra plays four seasons a year here and the Johannesburg Musical Society a monthly weekend concert; the hall also takes symphony choir and youth concerts, choir productions, ballet and eisteddfods, alongside school and college ceremonies and conferences. The Mzansi National Philharmonic Orchestra is South Africa's national orchestra.
