The Pabst Theater is an ornate proscenium theatre in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, built in 1895 and reckoned among the oldest continuously operating theatres in the United States. A National Historic Landmark bound up with the city's German-American heritage, "the Pabst" stages around 100 concerts and events each year. The Mavericks are an American band formed in Miami, Florida, in 1989 and long led by singer and guitarist Raul Malo, whose rich, vibrato-laden voice defined their sound until his death in 2025.
