The Pearl is a live-music venue in downtown Vancouver, which programmes what it calls a dynamic lineup of musical artists, DJs and bands. It is a general-admission room with street-level entry: there is no reserved seating on the floor, a balcony seats 30, and two booths of up to six guests each are released for selected shows on a first-come basis. The venue keeps a dedicated viewing area with sightline accommodation for guests with accessibility needs, and a main-floor accessible washroom. The Longest Johns are an a cappella folk group from Bristol, England, formed in 2012 after members sang together at a friend's barbecue.
