Opened by Bruce Finkelman in 1992 as a simple neighbourhood bar and moved to its current Western Avenue home in 1993, it hosts performances every night, spanning indie-rock, punk, metal, hip-hop, electronic, experimental and jazz, with the connected Pizza Friendly Pizza next door. The Hoyle Brothers is a country act.
