The Pearl is a live-music venue in downtown Vancouver, which programmes what it calls a dynamic lineup of musical artists, DJs and bands. It is a general-admission room with street-level entry: there is no reserved seating on the floor, a balcony seats 30, and two booths of up to six guests each are released for selected shows on a first-come basis. The venue keeps a dedicated viewing area with sightline accommodation for guests with accessibility needs, and a main-floor accessible washroom. The Fixx came out of London at the start of the 1980s and have kept an almost unchanged line-up ever since: Cy Curnin, Adam Woods, Rupert Greenall and Jamie West-Oram from the first records, and Dan K. Brown on bass for most of the decades since.
