The Paramount is a concert and comedy venue at 370 New York Avenue in Huntington, on Long Island, a five to seven minute taxi ride from the Long Island Rail Road's Huntington station. Below the room is the Founder's Room, a members-only speakeasy; next door are Ella's, the venue's restaurant, and Spotlight, a bar with live music of its own. The Fixx came out of London at the start of the 1980s and have kept an almost unchanged line-up ever since: Cy Curnin, Adam Woods, Rupert Greenall and Jamie West-Oram from the first records, and Dan K. Brown on bass for most of the decades since.
