The details, in daylight

A movie palace in San Francisco's Castro District, built in 1922 to a design by Timothy L. Pflueger, who also drew Oakland's Paramount Theater. Its architecture mixes Beaux-Arts and Spanish Baroque, and the Art Deco marquee that has become the street's landmark was added in 1937. The Fixx came out of London at the start of the 1980s and have kept an almost unchanged line-up ever since: Cy Curnin, Adam Woods, Rupert Greenall and Jamie West-Oram from the first records, and Dan K. Brown on bass for most of the decades since.
