The Powerstation is a music venue in Eden Terrace, Auckland, and one of the few small live rooms of its kind left in New Zealand. The building has housed music venues in various forms since the 1950s. The Damned released the first UK punk single, New Rose, in 1976, then invented goth with Phantasmagoria — and are still gleefully touring the chaos.
