A heritage-listed entertainment venue in Torrensville, in Adelaide's inner west, affectionately known as the Thebby. Built in 1926 as the Thebarton Town Hall and picture theatre and opened in 1928, it holds 2,000 with customisable seating, from full seating to a cleared dance floor or in-the-round. It's a favourite stop for both big international names and emerging artists. The Church are a Sydney psychedelic rock band whose shimmering 1988 classic Under the Milky Way remains one of Australia's most beloved songs.
