A 16,500-capacity amphitheatre in The Woodlands, on Houston's northern edge — known locally as simply 'The Pavilion'. Run as a non-profit by The Center for the Performing Arts at The Woodlands, it splits its summer between touring rock and pop and its own performing-arts season. The Black Crowes are an American rock band formed in Atlanta in 1984, built around brothers Chris Robinson on vocals and Rich Robinson on guitar.
