Altar Bar is a live-music venue on Murray Street in central Hobart, Tasmania. It hosts touring and local rock, punk and metal acts, from Tasmanian death-metal band Psycroptic to visiting Australian rock groups. The Bennies are an Australian ska-punk band formed in Melbourne in 2009, initially under a different name until 2011.
