The Bennies are an Australian ska-punk band formed in Melbourne in 2009, initially under a different name until 2011. Fronted by Anty Horgan, they cheerfully bill their sound as 'psychedelic reggae ska doom metal punk rock from Hell', blending punk, ska, reggae, dub and heavy metal. Their albums include Party Party Party! (2011), Rainbows in Space (2013), Wisdom Machine (2016), Natural Born Chillers (2018) and You Can't Put Out This Fire (2025). Their single 'Party Machine' landed at number 88 in Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2015, their biggest chart showing, and they later appeared on the station's Like a Version. Known for riotous, high-energy shows, they have toured extensively across Australia and Japan.
