The Paramount is a concert and comedy venue at 370 New York Avenue in Huntington, on Long Island, a five to seven minute taxi ride from the Long Island Rail Road's Huntington station. Below the room is the Founder's Room, a members-only speakeasy; next door are Ella's, the venue's restaurant, and Spotlight, a bar with live music of its own. The Amity Affliction are a Gympie, Queensland metalcore band whose confessional anthems about grief and mental health made them one of Australia's biggest heavy exports.
