Showbox SoDo is an 1,800-capacity concert hall in Seattle's SoDo district, a few blocks south of Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park. Housed in a converted 1935 warehouse of exposed brick and wood beams, it opened under the Showbox name in 2007 as the larger sibling of the Showbox at the Market. The Amity Affliction are a Gympie, Queensland metalcore band whose confessional anthems about grief and mental health made them one of Australia's biggest heavy exports.
