A 1936 National Guard armory in downtown Minneapolis, built by the Public Works Administration and on the National Register of Historic Places. It housed the Minneapolis Lakers before the NBA left town, sat through decades of other uses, and is now one of the city's biggest and most striking rooms. Social Distortion are an American punk rock band formed in Fullerton, California, in 1978 by Mike Ness, who remains the only constant member of a much-changed line-up.
