The Underworld is a live-music venue in Camden Town, London, occupying a warren of connected rooms beneath the World's End pub on Camden High Street. A long-standing home for rock, metal, punk and hardcore, it hosts club nights and touring bands from around the world. Slope are a five-piece from Duisburg who have been playing hardcore-funk since 2014, which in their hands means aggressive punk welded to basslines that owe more to hip-hop than to hardcore.
