Higher Ground is a two-room live-music venue in South Burlington, Vermont, made up of the larger Ballroom and the more intimate Showcase Lounge. A hub of the Vermont music scene, it presents touring and local acts across indie rock, folk, country, electronic, reggae and comedy. Sleep are an American stoner doom metal band from San Jose, California, formed in 1990, with bassist and vocalist Al Cisneros the only constant member.
