The Commodore Ballroom is a music venue and dance hall on Granville Street in Vancouver, built in the late Art Deco style. It is widely regarded as Canada's most influential nightclub and one of the best live rooms in North America, known for its sprung dance floor. Catherine Grace Garner performs as Slayyyter, an American singer and songwriter whose electropop production and brash, sex-positive lyricism first found an audience on SoundCloud, where she released songs independently.
