Edmonton's downtown arena, open since September 2016 — 18,347 for hockey and a little over 20,700 with the floor sold for a concert. It replaced Northlands Coliseum, where the Oilers had played since 1974. Shinedown are an American rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2001 by frontman Brent Smith.
