Shinedown

Shinedown are an American rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2001 by frontman Brent Smith. The line-up settled around Smith, drummer Barry Kerch, guitarist Zach Myers and bassist Eric Bass, playing a hard-edged sound that spans post-grunge, alternative metal and arena rock. They have sold over ten million records worldwide, and hits such as 'Second Chance', which reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, 'Save Me' and 'Cut the Cord' made them a rock-radio institution. The band hold the record for the most number-one singles on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, and in 2021 Billboard named them the greatest Mainstream Rock act of all time. Relentless tourers from the outset, they have headlined the Carnival of Madness and co-headlined with Breaking Benjamin and Godsmack.
