The Octagon Centre is an eight-sided auditorium at the University of Sheffield, built in 1983, that seats up to 1,800 and serves as one of the city's concert and club-night venues alongside its use for university events. Shed Seven are an English alternative rock band formed in York in 1990 around singer Rick Witter, bassist Tom Gladwin and drummer Alan Leach.
