A multi-purpose indoor arena in the Victory Park neighborhood of downtown Dallas, Texas. Opened on July 17, 2001 at a cost of $420 million, it is home to the NHL's Dallas Stars and the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, and also hosts concerts and other live entertainment as one of the city's premier large-scale venues. Santana is an American rock band formed in San Francisco, California, in 1966 by Mexican-American guitarist Carlos Santana, who has been its only consistent member.
