Downtown Washington's arena, sitting directly on top of the Gallery Place Metro station in Chinatown. It opened in 1997 as the MCI Center and has changed name twice since — Verizon Center, then Capital One in 2017 — while staying the city's main indoor stop for anything big. Rush are Canada's most celebrated rock export — the Toronto progressive trio of Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and drummer-lyricist Neil Peart, whose virtuosic runs through Moving Pictures, 2112 and Hemispheres made them a musician's band with an arena-sized cult.
