Rebirth Brass Band are a New Orleans institution, formed in 1983 in the city's Tremé neighbourhood by tuba player Phillip "Tuba Phil" Frazier, his brother Keith, trumpeter Kermit Ruffins and schoolmates from Joseph S. Clark high school.
