SLAY is a live music venue and club on Glassford Street in Glasgow's Merchant City, staging touring rock, metal and alternative gigs alongside club nights. Protest the Hero are a Canadian progressive metal band formed in Whitby, Ontario, in 1999, known for intricate, technically demanding compositions fronted by vocalist Rody Walker.
