The Preservation Hall Jazz Band is a New Orleans jazz band founded by tuba player Allan Jaffe in the early 1960s and named after Preservation Hall in the French Quarter, which Jaffe and his wife Sandra agreed to manage after visiting on their 1961 honeymoon.
