Berlin's big indoor room on the Spree at Uber-Platz, opened in 2008 and known as the O2 World and then the Mercedes-Benz Arena before Uber took the name in 2024. Seventeen thousand people, 59 suites, and second only to Cologne's Lanxess Arena among German arenas — the Berlin stop on most arena tours. Placebo formed in London in 1994 around Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, the two constants through three full-time drummers.
