Barclays Arena is a multipurpose arena in Hamburg, opened in 2002 and holding up to 16,000 people. It has traded under several names over the years — Color Line Arena, Barclaycard Arena and O2 World Hamburg among them — and is one of northern Germany's principal concert rooms. Placebo formed in London in 1994 around Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, the two constants through three full-time drummers.
