A beloved 1,100-capacity concert hall in Chicago, split between a main floor and balcony, that has championed local, regional and national emerging acts since it first opened in 1982. Formerly the Stages Music Hall and Cabaret Metro, the building also houses the Smart Bar nightclub tucked beneath the main venue. Peter Hook & The Light is the band of Peter Hook, the pioneering bassist of Joy Division and New Order, formed in Manchester in 2010 to perform those catalogues in full.
