A theatre in Downtown Los Angeles that opened in 1926, ran as a playhouse and briefly as a movie theatre, and closed in 1950. After decades of other uses the building was renovated and reopened as a music venue called The Belasco in 2011; Live Nation has operated it since 2020. Nekrogoblikon are a melodic death metal band based in Los Angeles, formed in 2006 by Nicky Calonne and Tim Lyakhovetskiy; lead guitarist Alex Alereza has the longest active tenure.
