A two-floor venue on Bloor Street West in Toronto's Annex, adapted in September 1985 into the concert hall and nightclub it is now. The ground-floor room holds just over 500; upstairs is The Dance Cave, which draws students from the nearby universities at weekends with alt-rock and older regulars midweek with goth, mod, punk and indie nights. Pity Party (Girls Club) is an American bedroom-pop and indie project, the moniker of Southern California musician Julian Isaac, formed in 2014 in the Inland Empire while he was still in high school.
