A bar and music venue in Chicago's Ukrainian Village, on the city's west side. Opened by Bruce Finkelman in 1992 as a simple neighbourhood bar and moved to its current Western Avenue home in 1993, it hosts performances every night, spanning indie-rock, punk, metal, hip-hop, electronic, experimental and jazz, with the connected Pizza Friendly Pizza next door. Model/Actriz are an American band formed in 2016 and now based in Brooklyn, known for an intense, abrasive fusion of noise rock, post-punk and industrial music built around vocalist Cole Haden's confrontational live shows.
