The Foundry is the smaller of the two rooms inside The Fillmore Philadelphia, in the city's Fishtown district. The building opened as a venue in 2015 in the former Ajax Metal Factory of 1912; the factory's original smokestack runs through The Foundry, and the room's bar is built from timber salvaged from Ajax. Michigander is an American rock band created in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 2014 — really the solo project of Jason Singer, its vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist frontman, joined by touring musicians Jake LeMond on guitar, Aaron Senor on drums and Connor Robertson on bass.
