A beloved 1,100-capacity concert hall in Chicago, split between a main floor and balcony, that has championed local, regional and national emerging acts since it first opened in 1982. Formerly the Stages Music Hall and Cabaret Metro, the building also houses the Smart Bar nightclub tucked beneath the main venue. Medium Build is the recording project of American singer-songwriter Nick Carpenter, based in Anchorage, Alaska, whose honest indie-folk songwriting has earned support slots with the likes of Lewis Capaldi and Finneas.
