The Atlantis is a small music venue in Washington, D.C. that opened in May 2023, built as a deliberate recreation of the original 9:30 Club on F Street — which itself opened under the name The Atlantis. It sits alongside the current 9:30 Club and opened exactly forty-three years after its namesake. MARIS is an American singer-songwriter, born Maris Maddux-Ward, who won the 10th First Night Spotlight on New Year's Eve 2014 and took part in American Idol season 16 in 2017.
