Beta Band brought Manchester Psych Fest to O2 Ritz Manchester in Manchester on 5 September 2026, with Working Men's Club, Gwenno, GHOSTWOMAN, Freak Slug, Night Tapes, Dog Race, thistle., LEMONSUCKR, Martial Arts, Angine de Poitrine, White Denim, Automatic, The Belair Lip Bombs, Sword II in support. A 1,500-capacity room on Whitworth Street West, and still 'the Ritz' to everyone in Manchester. Its sprung dance floor is the bit people remember — the whole room moves with a full house. The Beta Band were a Scottish group formed in 1996 in St Andrews, Fife, known for a genre-blurring mix of folk, psychedelia, electronica and trip-hop.
