An intimate, independent room in Camden Town, five minutes' walk from the tube, founded in 2005 by two music-loving friends. Folk, Americana, country and bluegrass through to blues, roots, world and jazz, with a gig on every night — plus a vegetarian café-bar and a basement piano bar that give it the feel of a 1960s coffee-shop music parlour. Ma Polaine's Great Decline are an award-winning band whose blend of pop, folk, blues and Americana MOJO Magazine has praised, and whose fifth studio album, Monster Swan, was released in February.
