A mostly outdoor music venue in Highland Park, Illinois, Ravinia Festival runs a wide-ranging summer season from June to September, spanning classical to pop. The New York Philharmonic played the first concert here in 1905, and it has been the summer home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra since 1936. Set on 36-acre Ravinia Park, with the prairie-style Martin Theatre among its stages, it draws around 400,000 listeners a year. Los Tigres del Norte are a Mexican norteño band based in San Jose, California, founded in the small town of Rosa Morada in the municipality of Mocorito, Sinaloa.
