A theatre at 244–250 Tremont Street, in the heart of Boston's historic theatre district, opened in 1914 and renovated in 2008. It seats 1,093, or 1,200 once the removable tables and seats on the orchestra floor come out to make a standing room, and programmes mostly live comedy and music across its three levels. Laura Ramoso is a Toronto comedian whose viral character sketches — including her German mother and Italian father — grew into sold-out international sketch tours.
