The Foundry is the smaller of the two rooms inside The Fillmore Philadelphia, in the city's Fishtown district. The building opened as a venue in 2015 in the former Ajax Metal Factory of 1912; the factory's original smokestack runs through The Foundry, and the room's bar is built from timber salvaged from Ajax. LAUNDRY DAY are an American pop rock band from Manhattan, formed in 2017 while all four members were students at Beacon High School in Hell's Kitchen: vocalist Jude Ciulla-Lipkin, vocalist and drummer Sawyer Nunes, guitarist Henry Weingartner and bassist Henry Pearl.
