LAUNDRY DAY are an American pop rock band from Manhattan, formed in 2017 while all four members were students at Beacon High School in Hell's Kitchen: vocalist Jude Ciulla-Lipkin, vocalist and drummer Sawyer Nunes, guitarist Henry Weingartner and bassist Henry Pearl. Nunes had already appeared on Broadway in the original casts of Finding Neverland and Gettin' the Band Back Together. Their debut album, Trumpet Boy, came in March 2018 on their own label, Polo and Fomo, and Homesick — co-produced with Romil Hemnani of Brockhampton and recorded partly at Shangri-La Studio — followed in March 2019, the year they toured at weekends around the school timetable and played the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
