Birmingham's arena since 1991, run by the NEC Group and used for about as wide a spread as a building can take — touring bands, comedy, musicals, and a long run of European and world championships in between. Korn are an American nu metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993 by James "Munky" Shaffer, Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu and David Silveria, who had played together in L.A.P.D. The band now plays as Shaffer, Brian "Head" Welch, singer Jonathan Davis and drummer Ray Luzier.
