Birmingham's arena since 1991, run by the NEC Group and used for about as wide a spread as a building can take — touring bands, comedy, musicals, and a long run of European and world championships in between. The Script are an Irish pop rock band formed in 2001 in Dublin by lead vocalist and keyboardist Danny O'Donoghue, lead guitarist Mark Sheehan and drummer Glen Power.
