A Grade II-listed Art Deco venue on Commercial Road in Stepney, East London, opened in 1933 as a cinema. After stints as an opera training school and a 1980s bingo hall, it was converted for live events in 2006. Listed in 1990, the 3,100-capacity hall is a treasured piece of East London history, with an extension to 3,600 planned for 2026. Kevin Morby is an American singer-songwriter, born in Lubbock, Texas, in 1988 and raised around Kansas City before moving to Brooklyn as a teenager.
