Venue Cymru Theatre is the theatre inside Venue Cymru, the theatre, conference centre and arena on the Promenade in Llandudno, Conwy County Borough, north Wales. The building is owned by Conwy County Borough Council and opened in 1982 as the Aberconwy Centre; a 1994 redevelopment added a 1,500-seat auditorium and renamed it the North Wales Theatre and Conference Centre, and it took the name Venue Cymru in 2007 after a further £10.7 million redevelopment. Katherine Jenkins is a Welsh mezzo-soprano from Neath, the world's most successful classical-crossover artist of her generation.
