Drostdy-teater is a theatre in Stellenbosch, in the Western Cape winelands of South Africa, that stages Afrikaans music concerts and drama alongside other cultural performances. Karin Hougaard is an Afrikaans singer, writer, poet and painter who has been part of the Afrikaans music scene since winning the ATKV's Crescendo competition in 1980 as a sixteen-year-old student, and has released thirteen CDs.
