Inglewood's space-age landmark, opened in 1967 to Charles Luckman's pillar-free design. After decades as LA's sporting cathedral it was reborn as a pure concert arena — 'The Fabulous Forum' remains one of music's great rooms. Joyce Manor formed in Torrance in 2008 after Barry Johnson and Chase Knobbe decided on a trip to Disneyland to start a band, and took the name from an apartment building Johnson used to walk past.
