An indoor arena in San Diego, opened in November 1966 and built for $6.4 million by Bob Breitbard. An example of New Formalism architecture, it is designated a historic resource by the City of San Diego and is home to the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League. It has carried several names, becoming Pechanga Arena in December 2018. Journey are an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1973 by former members of Santana and other Bay Area groups.
