Baltimore's downtown multipurpose arena, seating up to 14,000 for concerts near the Convention Center. It opened on October 23, 1962 as the Baltimore Civic Center, designed by AG Odell Jr. and Associates on the site where the Continental Congress met in 1776. City-owned and managed by the Oak View Group, it's a cornerstone of the Inner Harbor. Journey are an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1973 by former members of Santana and other Bay Area groups.
