A multi-purpose indoor arena in Sunrise, Florida, home to the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League. Designed by Ellerbe Becket and completed in 1998 at a cost of $185 million, almost entirely publicly financed, it has 70 suites and 2,623 club seats. It opened on 3 October 1998 with a Celine Dion concert, with Elton John playing the following night, and has been known successively as the National Car Rental Center, Office Depot Center, BankAtlantic Center and BB&T Center. Journey are an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1973 by former members of Santana and other Bay Area groups.
